Uruguay beats Canada on penalties

On Sunday morning, Canada and Uruguay faced off in the third place match of the Copa America. In the first half, Rodriguez Bintanguá opened the scoring and Ismael Ghani equalized the score. In the second half, Jonathan David helped Canada overtake the score, and Luis Suarez scored in the injury time, and the game ended in a 2-2 tie in legal time. In the penalty shootout, Uruguay defeated Canada 4-3 and won the third place of this Copa America.


In the first half, in the 8th minute, Uruguay took a corner kick from the left to the penalty area. Sebastian Kasiris headed the ball down from the back post. Rodigo Bintanguya got the ball and turned around to shoot the ball into the goal. In the penalty shootout, Canadian players Ismael Ghani and Alphonso Davies missed their shots, while Uruguay scored all their goals.
